Details: Looking for an enjoyable weekend event? Post Town Winery, a family run business, proudly opens it's doors to visitors. This boutique winery will charm you the moment you step through the door. You will be welcomed with a keepsake engraved wine glass for your tasting pleasure, followed by a relaxing tasting experience, with coffehouse style music, cheese and crackers and good conversation. During your visit, feel free to wander back to the tank room, the peaceful space where these SE MN grown grapes ferment, age and are bottled to bring you a truely MN GROWN, minimally processed wine. The Post Town Winery is located on the west edge of Rochester, MN just West of the intersection of Hwy 14 and West Circle Drive near the end of the North Frontage Road. The winery tasting room is also available for small private events with or without a tasting.

- August 9: Annie Lawler
Annie Lawler and her band bring a laid-back cool to all of their performances - a top notch mix of blues, jazz, and alt country certain to please!

- August 16: Dianna Parks & Friends
Dianna Parks & Friends always fill the Civic patio. So, be sure to come early to get a good seat and enjoy unique interpretations of favorites by the Beatles, Linda Ronstadt, Faith Hill, Adele, and many others as well as original compositions.

- August 23: Annie Mack
Annie Mack, Rochester’s own "Gritty Diva" is able to belt it out with raw intensity or with sultry sophistication. Her truth, conviction, and vocal artistry have made her a regional star, and we are delighted to welcome her back to the patio this summer.

This event takes place every Friday from June 7 to August 23, 2013. (No concert on July 5.)

Zumbrota Area Arts Council's Z-Theatre presents "Don't Tell My Wife," a summer comedy by Rochester playwright Joan Sween. "Don't Tell My Wife" is a farce in 2 acts and features local actors from the Zumbrota area. Tickets are general admission and can be purchased at Busby Hardware (321 S Main St), Crossings at Carnegie (320 East Ave), & Main Street Pharmacy all in Zumbrota (370 S Main St). Details: Two songwriters hailing from Southeast Minnesota will be featured in the Local Songwriter Showcase: Jake McBroom, a singer/songwriter from Wanamingo, and Tat Thompson, a singer/songwriter who grew up on a dairy farm. McBroom describes the style of music he plays as “acoustic alternative folk.” Thompson also is a member of a band called The Trees.
