Details: Americans nationwide will wear red Friday, Feb. 5, to show their support for womens heart disease awareness on National Wear Red Day.
Mayo Clinic will celebrate with activities at both St. Marys Hospital and the Gonda Building. At St. Marys Hospital, Jane Belau and Bruce Rohde will perform heart-themed piano music in the Francis Lobby at 11am and a group photo of employees wearing red will follow at 11:30am
Belau and Rohde will continue the musical fun in Gondas Landow Atrium from noon-12:45pm An educational and entertaining program will begin at 12:05pm in Geffen Auditorium, with Sharonne N. Hayes, M.D., director of the Womens Heart Clinic, introducing motivational speaker Mary Pierce, who will take the stage at 12:10 pm.
