Details: Taizé prayer uses simple chants based on the Scriptures and periods of silence to create an environment for encountering the mystery of God. This form of prayer was started by an intercommunity of monks in Taizé, France, hence the name. It is designed to foster peace and reconciliation among peoples. People of all faith traditions are welcome. These prayer services, held in Lourdes Chapel, will be led by members of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

Details: The serene and dramatic landscape of northern Scandinavia is the land of the midnight's sun, the northern lights and the Saami, a nomadic tribal group that follows the migration of the reindeer. Traditional Saami jewelry incorporated elements of their northern landscape - softened reindeer leather and sculpted antler. In this course you'll explore the traditional jewelry techniques of triple braiding coiled pewter wire and sewing the finished braid to a reindeer hide strip. A reindeer antler button finishes the bracelet.
**Material fee of $95 will be collected by instructor at the conclusion of class.
Extend your visit by bringing your own lunch or purchasing lunch ($9) in the Eagle Bluff Dining Hall (12:15pm) on the registration page.

Irish Fest is the premier summer festival of SE Minnesota over the Labor Day weekend, and dedicated to sharing and promoting the history and culture of Ireland and our Irish Heritage.

Registration begins at 8:30 am and the Walk begins at 10am. Walk alongside 400 supporters to help make a difference in the lives of hundreds of people in our service area coping with Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Funds raised in the Walk to Defeat ALS support local care services, as well as nationally directed research.
