Details: You’ll see pottery, jewelry, paintings, photography, glass, woodworking and more. Admission is free and ten percent of all sales are donated to the Friends of Quarry Hill in support of nature education programs.
Meet the artists and hear how they have been inspired by nature to create their art. The Nature Center is open during the show for hands on exploration of their many exhibits and trails. And if it’s cold outside, warm up next to Quarry Hill’s famous indoor wood-burning fireplace.

Details: Rochester's virtuoso organist, Brian Williams, will be joined by Med City Brass for a unique and festive concert of music for organ and brass quintet. Their program will include works for solo organ including the famous Toccata by Widor among others, as well as some great music for brass quintet and combined pipes and brass.

Med City Brass, based in Rochester, is a brass quintet of professionally trained musicians with many years of performing experience. Quintet members have studied with principal players from several major American symphony orchestras. The members are Corey Henke, Bruce Bonnicksen, Randy Stroetz, Mark Woeste, and Ellis Workman.

Rochester Art Center is thrilled to present the first exhibition in our newly re-imagined RAC2 Local Artist Series, a solo exhibition of new and recent ceramic and rebar sculpture, video, and large-scale charcoal drawings on paper by Rochester-based artist Mary Beth Magyar. To continue RAC’s commitment to Southeastern Minnesota artist communities and to provide more visibility, we have shifted this celebrated exhibition series to our former Emerging Artist Series gallery on our third floor. Save the date for the opening reception and artist talk on Thursday, October 6, 6 – 8 pm!
Opening receptions are free and open to the public.

This October 29th from 1 PM – 4 PM we’ll have dancing, pumpkin decorating, art activities, apple-bobbing, and all things Autumn. Prizes will be given out for best individual costumes, best group/family costumes, best dance moves and more!
